Seamless Tube Process

A variety of materials may be used in this eleven-step manufacturing process. Once material is selected and sourced, an electric arc furnace is used to cast bars. When the bars are cooled, they are re-heated and pierced and sent through a machine to stretch and form long hollow coils. The tubes then go through several devices that lubricate, stretch and straighten. Tubes are put through an Eddy Current Test, cut to length, inspected by quality control and prepared for shipping.
